Why - Become a True Believer
When you are diagnosed with cancer it is very easy to have a diminished mindset (aka a non believer) and allow the world to engulf you. When I work with individuals I help them on the journey from a non-believer to being a True Believer.
Living with greater purpose and fulfillment is about keeping the why and what aligned.
True Believers know why they do what they do and they know and how.
There is often a back-story for a True Believer.
They have gone through many ups and downs to eventually arrive at the top of the ladder as a True Believer.

THE TRUE BELIEVER LADDER OF GROWTH

True Believers, with their strong belief, are determined to arrive at their destination. They have loads of conviction, are motivated and maintain enthusiasm. The True Believer uses three superpowers of belief, conviction and commitment to reach fulfillment. True Believers maintain their courage and conviction even when they get knocked down or rejected. They get back up quickly and continue taking action, determined to get the result they want.
It is one thing to know what you believe, know what you value and know what’s important, but believers use trust to manage the constant stream of doubt that potentially weakens their vision. Believers are aware of their current reality and they use positive delusion to fuel belief until evidence shows up. It’s like playing a game of make believe until success appears. So belief in the early stages is vision without proof. The key for the believer is to have trust, faith and confidence that their vision will one day become a reality.
Everyone wishes their dreams would come true. Everyone wishes to have as much as possible and for his or her life to improve. Dreamers imagine what it would be like to live the life they want. Dreamers are without action and they remain in the wishing group and don’t realize their dreams.
Each event in life has the possibility of sustaining or draining us. Non-Believers diminish the possibility and zap our energy. Self-doubt is common, but not helpful. When it shows up in our thoughts it overpowers our beliefs and makes us a non-believer. When the inevitable tough time arrives we often cant see how it is possible to move forward. Fear and doubt keep us stuck in a rut.
